Earlier today, we reported OPPO has two mid range 5g phones coming soon. Now, posters of one of the two phones have surfaced on the web. According to the images, the phone will arrive as the OPPO A92s.
The OPPO A92s will have a pill-shaped punch-hole at the top left corner for dual selfie cameras. It is also revealed that the phone’s 6.57-inch LCD display will have a 120Hz refresh rate.
We already know the phone will have a Dimensity 800 processor and now we know there will be an 8GB RAM + 128GB (UFS 2.1 storage) version with a price tag of ¥2499 (~$355) according to the image above.
Another of the images gives us a look at the rear design. OPPO has adopted a squircle housing for the four rear cameras but styles it up a bit by placing two of the sensors and the LED flash in a pill-shaped housing within the main one.
Digital Chat Station already leaked the camera specs. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor and it comes along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera and dual 2MP sensors which should be for macro photography and capturing depth details.
The image also reveals the OPPO A92s will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will be available in Gradient White and Navy Blue/Black

For a while now, two OPPO A-series smartphones have been doing the rounds on the internet. These smartphones are called the OPPO A12 and A12e. The former was spotted on the website of Thailand’s NBTC regulator IMDA and Geekbench, which revealed several of its key details. The OPPO A12e, on the other hand, had its specifications revealed recently, confirming that it is a budget smartphone powered by a mid-range Snapdragon processor. Pricebaba has now obtained the specifications of the OPPO A12 and an official render, via reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming OPPO A12.
OPPO A12 specifications and design
The OPPO A12 is an upcoming budget smartphone
As you can see in the render, the OPPO A12 is expected to come with a polycarbonate body featuring a diamond pattern on the back, which we have seen on Realme’s offerings in the past. According to Agarwal, the smartphone will weigh 165g and measure 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3mm. We can see a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the back along with a dual camera module backed by a single LED flash. Agarwal confirms that the camera setup will feature a 13-megapixel f/2.2 primary camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel f/2.4 secondary lens. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone will offer a 5MP f/2.0 snapper on the front.
The render shows a waterdrop notch display on the front, which we can confirm will be an LCD panel measuring 6.22-inches with HD+ resolution. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor. OPPO will be offering the handset in two configurations – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. There’s no word on the expandable storage of the handset yet. Lastly, the tipster reveals that the phone will boot ColorOS 6.1.2 out of the box and be powered by a 4,230mAh battery.
The specifications of the OPPO A12 suggest it will be a budget offering. We can expect OPPO to launch the smartphone in the coming days. Notably, the OPPO A11 was not launched in India, so it’s unlikely that the A12 will make its way to the country

The Oppo Reno Ace was the first phone on the market with Super VOOC 2.0 that can reach 65W fast-charging speeds. Now Brian Shen, company VP, confirmed on Weibo the successor of the phone will arrive in April.
A mysterious Oppo device codenamed PDHM00 is likely the very same Oppo Reno Ace 2, and it was certified at 3C with a 65W fast charger.
The Oppo PDHM00 phone will (unsurprisingly) have 5G. At the CCC website, we see a 10V/6.5A charger with model number VCA7GACH, which is exactly the same brick that came in the first Oppo Reno Ace retail box. As we establish a 4,000 mAh battery can be filled 49% in ten minutes and it needs only 28 minutes to reach 100%.
Sadly, the phone never escaped China and the global Oppo fans had to wait for the Find X2 lineup to meet the game-changing fast charging speeds of 65W.
The Reno Ace 2 is expected to have the latest Snapdragon chipset and other neat specs like LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage, so it might be one very attractive package. Here's hoping it will get wider availability than its predecessor.
Last week Xiaomi announced that it will launch the Mi 10 in India on March 31, but the company has now announced that the launch has been postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
This decision comes after Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi imposed a 21-day nationwide lockdown in India to contain the spread of COVID-19, which claimed the lives of 11 people and infected more than 500 in the country at the time of writing this.
In addition to suspending the Mi 10 launch in India, Xiaomi has shut its Mi Home stores across the country and won't be offering home delivery temporarily. Previously, the company also postponed the first sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India, which was supposed to go live yesterday.
Xiaomi is the third smartphone brand after vivo and Realme to cancel product launches in India due to COVID-19. Both vivo and Realme were supposed to launch the V19 and Narzo 10 series, respectively, on March 26.
As Oppo is getting ready to introduce the world to the Find X2 on March 6 the company has been teasing a lot of aspects of its next flagship smartphone (and its even more premium sibling, the Find X2pro).
Now though, it's time to take a look at a bunch of leaked live images of the Find X2.
As you can see, the camera island on the back seems to protrude a lot from the phone's body, but at least it's not as wide as those on recent Samsungs. There's a periscope zoom module in there, up top, given away by the square opening and the "hybrid zoom" branding etched right underneath it.
There are two additional cameras and a dual-LED flash module. Aside from the main snapper there's probably going to be an ultrawide too. On the front a single hole-punch selfie cam is left-aligned at the top of the display, which seems slightly curved.
Speaking of, that's been confirmed to sport 1440 density, with a 120Hz Refreshing rate and 240Hz touch sampling. And while we're talking about past rumors and teasers, these also talked about a 48 MP main camera, 30W wireless charging support, 65W fast wired charging, and 5G on board (thanks to the Snapdragon 865 chipset).
Realme will release new smartphones on March 6 and they will come to replace the very succesful Realme 5 and 5 Pro. Namely, Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, both smartphones will come early in the next month, but they aren’t everything. The company will also launch its first smartband dubbed Realme band.
While we don’t know the price of the Realme Band, the company decided to reveal some of the features coming with it. The information is as official as it can be since it has been provided via Realm Indian website. The fast-growing company is doing its best to keep the hype alive towards the first health-related wearable. At first, the company revealed that the Realme Band will sport a color screen that shows notifications for calls, messages, and alarms.
Furthermore, the band will include sleep tracking and real-time heart monitoring and support for nine sport modes. That’s not a surprise for a product that has a focus in health-tracking. One of the sports covered by the Realme Band is Cricket, which is the most traditional sport in India. This feature will act as the main selling point for cricket enthusiasts. It’s a smart move.
Other features include IP68 water resistance certification and USB-A connector. With the latter feature, users can directly plug it into the regular USB-A port for hassle-free charging.
The new wearable will come in Yellow, Black, and Olive Green colors. Worth noting that a limited number of units will go on sale after the launch on March 5, 2 PM to 4 PM local time in India through the company’s Indian website.
Oppo introduced its brand new A31 to the Indonesian market. The latest member of the brand’s midrange series brings a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie cam and 20:9 aspect ratio.
The back houses a triple camera array with a 12MP main shooter, 2MP portrait shooter and a 2MP macro snapper. There’s also a capacitive fingerprint scanner in the middle of the back.
The MediaTek Helio P35 sits at the helm with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot.
The software front is covered by Android 9 Pie with Oppo’s custom ColorOS 6.1 on top. The battery comes in at 4,230 mAh and charges over the microUSB port. Other notable features include a headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and an FM radio receiver.
The A31 is available in Mystery Black and Fantasy White colors for IDR 2,599,000 ($190). It’s already on sale via Oppo Indonesia and all major local retailers. There’s still no word on an international release.
Earlier today Xiaomi introduced its flagship Mi 10 series smartphones which among other things boast some of the more impressive camera arrays around. In fact the Mi 10 pro has the most impressive camera DxOMark has reviewed so far, posting a score of 124 and eclipsing the previous leader Huawei Mate 30
The Mi 10 Pro has a 108MP main camera which boasts a 1/1.33-inch type sensor and f/1.69 aperture. In addition we have an 8P lens construction, OIS and EIS with shots outputting in 25MP resolution by default. Next up, we find a 12MP short telephoto cam with 2x zoom, a 1/2.6-inch type sensor and f/2 aperture followed by an 8MP OIS long telephoto cam capable of 10x hybrid zoom with a 1/4.4-inch sensor and f/2 lens. The fourth shooter is a 20MP ultrawide cam with an 1/2.8-inch sensor and f/2.2 aperture lens.
These, along with some digital zooming let the Mi 10 Pro cover the 0.6x to 50x zoom range. Images from the main cam are similar to last year’s Mi CC9 pro (Mi Note 10 outside China) but offer better texture rendering, improved corner sharpness and low-light performance. The newer Mi 10 Pro also excels in dynamic range with better highlight preservation and HDR processing in bright and indoor scenarios. The two telephoto modules offered excellent detail preservation even at 5x zoom.
Night mode shots were also another praised for detail levels, low noise and wide dynamic range. The reviewers liked the accurate white balance and autofocus performance. Shots from the ultrawide cam are also said to offer solid details, accurate exposure and decent dynamic range.
Some of the Mi 10 Pro’s camera shortcomings come in the occasional muted color reproduction, and a ghosting effect in HDR stills from the ultrawide cam and night mode shots. DxOMark also notes that the main 108MP sensor tends to have a tougher time with focusing due to its narrow depth of field than competing devices.
On the video side, the Mi 10 Pro delivered great detail rendering and video stabilization alongside solid exposure and fast autofocus in both day and night recordings. Dynamic range was limited and there was occasional noise in low light scenarios.
The Galaxy S20 phones will be unvieled tomorrow, but that hasn’t deterred leaks. Here’s a live photo of the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G shared by prolific leakster Max Weinbach. The punch hole for the selfie camera is smaller than in the previous generation and is placed right on the bottom of the status bar.
The bezels have been slimmed down as well. Ice Universe compares the bottom bezel of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with that of the Note10+ and by his estimates, it’s a fraction of a millimeter thinner. The Note10 phones boasted slimmer top and bottom bezels than the S10 phones, of course.
If you want to see the back of the Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra, you can check out this previous leak Anyway, there’s not much time left for rumors and leaks now, Samsung will unveil the S20 trio along with the Galaxy Z Flip tomorrow – we’ll have extensive coverage, so check back with us for all the official details.
Apparently, Oppo decided that the Reno3 line could benefit from some restructuring, or extra saturation, depending on how you look at things, since the we have no indication that the current Reno3 or the Reno 3Pro are going anywhere. What we do know, is that there is now a Reno3 Vitality edition, officially up and gathering pre-orders on both jd.com and opposhop.cn.
Just like earlier leaks suggested, the Vitality is essentially the vanilla Reno3 with some internals swapped and new colors. The first main change being a Snapdragon 765 chipset, in place of the Mediatek MT6885Z Dimensity 1000L . The former is theoretically slightly faster, bringing the Reno3 Vitality closer to the Reno3 Pro. Though the Pro is rocking the technically better 765G variant of the silicon. Overall, this particular chipset switch doesn’t seem to be major in terms of raw performance, so, perhaps, Oppo has other reasons, potentially related to differences in the 5G connectivity offered by the two respective mid-range chips? We can't really say for sure.
The other big internal change the Vitality edition brings about is seemingly a downgrade, at least on paper, that is, to a 48MP main camera. Again, bridging the gap with the Reno3 Pro for some reason. The Vitality also seems to be skipping on the higher memory tier of the vanilla Reno3 and is currently only being offered in an 8GB, plus 128GB configuration. This definitely leads us to lean more towards a restructuring or slight readjustment theory behind the Vitality, to better suit the market. And last, but not least, the Vitality edition comes in a trio of new colors - Moonlight Black, Sky Mirror White, and Streamer Gold.
Apart from these changes and a new coat of paint, the Reno3 Vitality seems identical to its vanilla sibling. It has the same 6.4-inch, 1080 x 2400 pixel, Super AMOLED display, with the same teardrop notch for the 32MP selfie camera. Same 4025mAh battery, with 30W fast charging support and all the other little bells and whistles, like a 3.5mm audio jack and NFC.
Like we already mentioned, you can hit-up one of the source links for pre-order listings for the Oppo Reno3 Vitality. Currently, it is price
Sales of the RedmiK20 pro (at Mi 9T pro in some markets) announced last May will stop this month.
This confirmation comes from Xiaomi VP Lu Weibing through a post on Chinese social network Weibo, and since Weibing didn't say anything about the vanilla K20, it's safe to say that the non-Pro variant will remain available for purchase for the time being.
The discontinuation of K20 Pro's sales comes at a time when the company is preparing to launch the K30 Pro.
Redmi hasn't officially revealed any details about the K30 Pro yet, but thanks to its Geekbench listing, we know it will arrive with Snapdragron 865 SoC, 8GB RAM and Android 10, which will be likely layered with MIUI 11 on top.
The K30 Pro is rumored to sport a quad camera setup on backside , with a 64MP Sony IMX686 main unit. It will pack a 4700 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
More details about the Redmi K30 Pro should surface in the coming days
Realme is expected to introduce Smartband and a smart Tv at MWC 2020, and today it officially confirmed a flagship smartphone is coming as well.
The account of the European division posted a tweet with the geographical coordinates of Barcelona, revealing the location for “realme’s 1st Global Launch”.
Spain appears to be a favorite destination for Realme to host its flagship launches. It already introduced the Realme X2pro in the capital Madrid in the middle of October.
This time we also expect the phone to be part of the X family and to have the latest Qualcomm chipset. Rumors suggest it could be called Realme X50 Pro, an upgrade of the Realme X2pro that has Snapdragon 765G chipset.
We are yet to see an official date for the launch, but MWC 2020 is scheduled for February 24-27 and we will be in Barcelona, so once everything is official, we will have hands-on impressions right away.
Redmi India boss Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to tease a new Redmi power bank. The short teaser shows the battery pack will come with a matte black finish with a woodgrain effect on the sides. We also get a peek at the Redmi branding and what is likely power indication button but that's about all there is for now. As far as a launch date we didn’t get any info as the video ends with a “coming soon” sign.
The Redmi 9 is excepted to come out soon alongside the company’s first smartwatch so we might just see all three products launch simultaneously.
The Redmi K30 Pro is another highly anticipated phone from the brand which is expected to come soon with Snapdragon 865, 8GB RAM and Sony IMX686 sensor for its main camera.
IQoo has started started teasing the launch of its 5G phone in India. The new development comes just weeks after the brand announced its arrival in the country. iQoo, which was launched as a sub-brand of Vivo in China back in February last year, is set to enter India later this month as a separate legal entity. In addition to the official teaser indicating the imminent launch of the 5G phone, a YouTube video has suggested that star cricketer Virat Kohli was already spotted using the upcoming iQoo phone.
The teaser that has been postedby the iQoo India Twitter account shows the brand's logo with a “coming soon” tag. The teaser tweet also highlights 5G support on the new smartphone. Separately, iQoo has made a dedicated website that would include further details about the upcoming offering in the coming days.
iQoo India Director - Marketing Gagan Arora in a conversation with select media persons last month started that the new iQoo smartphone that would be launched in India in February would come with the Qualcom snapdragan865 SoC. The executive also mentioned that the phone would have a “best in class technology” related to battery and support 5G networks in India. Moreover, the smartphone would come with 44W Super Flash Charge fast charging technology.
Vivo had unvield the first model under its iQoo sub-brand in China last year that was called the Vivo IQoo. However, for the India market, the brand doesn't want to be associated with Vivo and debut as a separate legal entity with a distinct office space located in Bengaluru. It would continue to use the manufacturing facility that produces Vivo smartphones, though.
The exact timeline for the iQoo smartphone launch in India is yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, considering the ongoing developments, it is likely to be announced soon
The Realme C3 is coming on February 6 but the company has already revealed most of its specifications. Now, Realme has announced that Realme C3 will boot Realme UI, making it the first Realme smartphone to run the company's newest Android 10-based skin out of the box.
The Realme C3 is an entry-level smartphone, having the recently announced Helio G70 SoC at the helm. It will arrive in two memory configurations (3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB) and sport a 6.5" waterdrop notch display, having a screen-to-body ratio of 89.8%.
For photography, the Realme C3 will come with three cameras - one on the front and two at the back. The primary camera will have a 12MP sensor, but we don't have details about the rest of the snappers.
The Realme C3 will pack a 5,000 mAh battery, which will likely draw power through a microUSB port. Realme has already confirmed the Blue color for the C3, but there will likely be more color options that aren't confirmed yet.
🔷The Poco X2 is just 3 days away from being announced officially and the company released yet another teaser today. This gives us the best look at the phone so far and at this point there's little doubt left that this is a rebranded Redmi K30.
🔹The video shows what is clearly the Redmi K30 in the purple color. Of course, we never get a perfectly clear look at the device but it's easy enough to recognize if you've seen the Redmi K30 before. Of particular note are the fingerprint sensor on the side of the device that also acts as the power button and the easily recognizable camera arrangement on the back.
🔺That the Poco X2 is almost certainly the Redmi K30 isn't really shocking news at this point, since we had seen plenty of leaks in the past that pointed us in this direction. Of course, we cannot be absolutely certain that the Poco X2 will simply be a rebranded Redmi K30 with zero changes, but so far it does seem to be that way. The fact that Xiaomi didn't launch the Redmi K30 in India also alludes to the fact that the device was intended to launch as the Poco X2 in that market all along.
🔷
The Poco X2 will be officially announced in India on February 4, 1200 IST. Until then, you can read our review of the Redmi K30.
