Poco X2 teaser is confirmed its K30 rebranding

ЁЯФ╖The Poco X2 is just 3 days away from being announced officially and the company released yet another teaser today. This gives us the best look at the phone so far and at this point there's little doubt left that this is a rebranded Redmi K30.

ЁЯФ╣The video shows what is clearly the Redmi K30 in the purple color. Of course, we never get a perfectly clear look at the device but it's easy enough to recognize if you've seen the Redmi K30 before. Of particular note are the fingerprint sensor on the side of the device that also acts as the power button and the easily recognizable camera arrangement on the back.

ЁЯФ║That the Poco X2 is almost certainly the Redmi K30 isn't really shocking news at this point, since we had seen plenty of leaks in the past that pointed us in this direction. Of course, we cannot be absolutely certain that the Poco X2 will simply be a rebranded Redmi K30 with zero changes, but so far it does seem to be that way. The fact that Xiaomi didn't launch the Redmi K30 in India also alludes to the fact that the device was intended to launch as the Poco X2 in that market all along.

ЁЯФ╖

The Poco X2 will be officially announced in India on February 4, 1200 IST. Until then, you can read our review of the Redmi K30.

PocoX2 comes with 27W Fast charging ...But its K30 rebranded

The Poco X2, likely to be based on the Redmi K30, will be sold through Flipkart in India and the e-commerce giant has already revealed that X2 will boast a 120Hz RealityFlow display. Now Flipkart has also confirmed that the X2 will support 27W fast charging.

The rest of the specs are yet to be officially confirmed, but if an image received by an Indian publication is legit, we'll see the Poco X2 pack a 6.67" screen and a quad camera setup on the back with a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera.

The image also reveals the design of the Poco X2, which is similar to the Redmi K30. It also reveals the price of the X2, which is INR18,999 ($265/€240) for the 6GB/64GB model. There are likely to be more memory options, but those aren't confirmed yet.

All this lends credence to the rumors and speculations of the Poco X2 being a re-branded Redmi K30, but it's still best to wait for official confirmations before considering anything final.

You can read out our blog about K30 to know all about it, and if you are short on time, you can watch the video below about its key features.

Motorola is expected to announce at least four new smartphones in a special event on February 23 in Barcelona. We should see the debut of the Moto G8, G8 Play, Edge+ flagship and an unnamed stylus-packing midranger.

Motorola Z5 battery certification

Now yet another Moto phone was spotted in the FCC’s database revealing its coming with a beefy 5,000 mAh battery. The phone bearing the XT2055-1 model number should be the next Zseries phone - likely called the Moto Z5.

According to unnamed insiders, the phone will not be revealed at the upcoming February 23 event but will instead be launched later on. The phone is also expected to support the Moto Mods range of accessories. That's all we have for now, we'll make sure to follow up on the Z5 once more info emerges

Huawei Will Launch Soon P40 at Lowest price

ЁЯСЙЁЯП╗Well, this year we could see how the Huawei P40 arrives for about 599 euros (about $659) to the market, a price well below that of its predecessor, while the best of the three models (Huawei P40 Premium) Would reach 999 euros (about $1,099). Therefore, the P40 Pro would be about 799 euros (about $879), approximately and supposedly. Anyway, these prices are not official, they have not even been filtered, they are assumptions of this leaker. But what is clear, is that Huawei will lower prices with its next flagship. This is probably to attract more public, despite the absence of Google services inside
Well, according to this leaker, Huawei would have changed the strategy and lowered the prices of the Huawei P40 series compared to its predecessors. It is not yet clear at all from what prices we could see them, although this user would have made an approximation. First of all, we remember the official sales prices of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: 799 and 999 euros, respectively for their base versions.

Poco arriving On Feb 4 with 120HZ and 64 MP Camera...

Poco has revealed the launch date of its first smartphone following it becoming a standalone company - the Poco X2 is arriving on February 4, which is next Tuesday. The phone will have “extreme refresh rate” for “extreme gaming”, a 64MP camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, liquid cooling and a Qualcomm chipset.

Teasers of the Poco X2

The Poco X2 was introduced on Twitter with the extremely tacky hashtag “Be Smooth af”. There is also a short link, sending you to a landing page that advertises the Poco X2 refresh rate in a way that some might find childish but many of the brands Twitter followers are loving.

It is preferably to visit the smoothaf.co.in link on mobile because that way Poco can advertise its 120Hz screen a bit better, and after all, it wants to downplay your current phone so you go to the store and buy the Poco X2 once it is introduced next week.

Smartphone Market in 2019 BBK leads in India

ЁЯФ╖Chinese behemoth BBK Group, the parent company of OPPO, Vivo, Realme and OnePlus brands, dominated the India smartphone market with 37 percent share for the full year 2019, compared to 28 per cent of Xiaomi, reveals latest data from Counterpoint Research.

ЁЯФ╖In the fourth quarter of 2019, the BBK Group captured a mammoth 43 percent share in the India smartphone market while Xiaomi had a 27 percent share.

ЁЯФ╖While Vivo's market share grew to 16 percent in the calendar year 2019 from 10 percent in 2018, Realme's share grew to 10 percent in 2019 from 3 percent in 2018, OPPO's share grew to 9 percent in 2019 from 8 percent in 2018.

ЁЯФ╖With 29 percent growth in market share, OnePlus also became one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in India in 2019. While Realme grew a massive 255 percent in 2019, Vivo registered 76 percent growth and OPPO 28 percent,

ЁЯФ╖In comparison, Xiaomi grew 5 percent year-over-year in 2019 driven by expansion in the offline and strong performance of its Redmi Note series.

ЁЯФ╖"India now has emerged as the biggest market for Xiaomi, surpassing its home market China in 2019. However, the growth rate has declined to single-digit as Xiaomi is now serving a much larger installed base in India," according to the data.

ЁЯФ╖Vivo's stunning growth in 2019 was driven by the good performance of its budget-segment series. "Also, by successfully pivoting to online and aggressively positioning the S series in the offline segment with new features, it managed to make a dent in Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000 segment," said Counterpoint.

ЁЯФ╖Overall, in the fourth quarter of 2019, the BBK group captured a mammoth 43 percent share in the India smartphone market. Interesting here to note is that the BBK Group does not seem to be resting on its laurels.

ЁЯФ╖This year, the group has infused another brand called iQOO in the competitive Indian market that will be the first, 5G-ready premium device in the country and would take on Xiaomi's new sub-brand POCO.

ЁЯФ╖The iQOO brand -- which already has six devices in its portfolio in China with the most recent one being the iQOO Neo 855 Racing -- would work as a separate legal entity in the country.

ЁЯФ╖With this brand, the BBK Group will now have five brands -- OnePlus, Vivo, OPPO, Realme and now iQOO -- to take on its rivals in India in 2020.

ЁЯФ╖"We aim to sell 10 lakh iQOO devices next month in India. It will be 100 per cent 'Make in India' premium device focused on strong performance, design innovation and 5G-ready," Gagan Arora, Director-Marketing, iQOO India, recently told IANS.ЁЯОЙЁЯОЙЁЯОЙЁЯОЙЁЯОЙЁЯОЙ

Next Smartphone from Realme C3...

Reame is a Subrand from Oppo. Now Realme is one of the best midrange  Smartphone in India.

Realme's upcoming C3 smartphone just cleared FCC and even though there's not much info in those listings, there are a few takeaways from the documents.

First and foremost, clearing the FCC means that launch is pretty close. Secondly, it's evident that the handset will come out with the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 - the company teased its custom UI heavily for the past couple of months.

Images from the FCC documents

And finally, there's a rough schematic of how the phone would look from the back and it's probably safe to assume that it would have three cameras (judging by the size of the camera bump). Plus there will be a fingerprint reader keeping them company.

Upcoming Poco in February

Yesterday Poco India's General Manager said we should expect the first phone by the newly independent brand by the end of the quarter. Today the company took it to Twitter and narrowed down the launch to "next month", which is February.

The tweet said "don’t trust unofficial leaks, here’s an official one", but the interview in the link is pretty much the same as the one from yesterday, including confirmation that Poco will use Xiaomi’s manufacturing lines and distribution channels.

Currently, Poco is trying to make it work as a separate brand. It will have its own sales team, marketing division, and product department, but they will all focus on the Indian market, so an international rollout is currently off the table. Now poco is a independent Brand Announcement
